I received one of these today,I have not fitted it yet but it arrived fast 7 day's and looks good [for a tank cover lol]
I bought a third party vinyl cover LIKE this one and it's great, but beware, the gas cap hole on mine stretched and became oval shaped. Might be wise to reinforce with some sort of plastic ring to keep it circular?

I've done 2 Adelaide Tathra trips with one of those on & another this year . Not the Quality & Fit of a bagster but for the $80 I paid ,Pretty good .Don't put too much strain on the front tie down points or it will rip . I put a tie looped under the frame in front of the tank .If your only putting it on for touring ,they are great .

Thanks Greeny but for me it is only some thing for the lad to sit on.
Got my carbon parts. A bit disappointed. They look pretty good, there are some bubbles as described. More cheezed off about the poor fit. The holes don't line up very well and I've had to spend time filing the holes larger and filing resin off the back of the parts to make them fit ok.
Once I do some more work on them, they'll look pretty good (much better than the normal black plastic). It's just a pain that I have to put that much work into making them fit.
But they're not lighter than standard parts, they've been made like fibre glass parts, not true prepreg carbon. As I said the holes don't line up which is a pain in the arse and some of the holes weren't the right size.
So I wouldn't recommend these parts to other people. If I'd paid full price of over $300 for them I'd be pretty pissed off. So glad I only paid about $100 for them.

Couldn't help myself at less than half price, I've bought a set! Will see how they go.
Yeah my apologies for recommending this, I got a little too excited for the price, (you surely do get what you pay for), I'm pretty disappointed too, I had to buy a rotary/dremel tool kit to be able to fit them and even after modification the left side has got a largish gap where the 2 are supposed to meet.... I complained to the ebay seller and he gave me a partial refund of $40, like you said, if I'd paid full price for these and they had the same fitting issues I'd be quite pissed off!
Sounds and looks like the same ones Ray and I did a few years ago, shocking fit, but small cost, I just use a thin strip of black tape over my joints. Geelong are much better quality at 4 times the price and then some!
Busabaz you don't need to apologise to me, I'd already decided to buy them before I saw your post. Thanks for the info about them refunding you part of the cost. I've sent them a message detailing where the parts don't fit, so I'll wait for their response.
