I'm interested in getting one as well, Bear.

From what I can gather the best thing to do is try them on for fit - in fact many insist it's essential as they vary too much.

I have a knox Ricochet. I think it has a better shape than the dainese ones, and it is more adjustable.

the only thing I have thats Dainese is my back protector!!

I dont have one with the sholder straps - but it goes top to bottom & has the kidney belt as well.

The way they are made blew my mind when I got it (Was a Xmas gift from my old man) you have ya hard shell - then under that a set of octagonal grids that take the force of impact & then you got your padding as well!!

only problem is I normally only wear it when I suit up in full leather - other wise its a CE foam one..... "Busa riders always count in three's.... 100, 200, 300"

I wear the full lenghth Dianese with the shoulder straps, incredibly comfy and I generally dont ride without it. The only time I've been out recently with out it was when I crashed up in Canberra (typical eh?) and my kidneys took a beating from a signpost.

Get one and wear it always
