Axis Powers

Something crossed my mind this weekend, being close to Anzac day and all that. Has anyone else noted that the bikes in MotoGP, Superbikes and Australian Superbikes are all built by the axis powers, viz Japan, Germany and Italy? You have to go down to supersport to find one of the allied countries represented i.e. UK and Triumph.

That's because Poms are no good for anything, and the only good thing about England is the road leading into Scotland!! (wait for the barrage of abuse to begin....they're an easy bunch to wind up!)

So on one side you have the bikes built by the Axis Powers and on the other side you have the bikes built by the Austin Powers. Lol3

For some reason I cannot reconcile the name of Harley Davidson with motorcycle sport, after all they haven't had a presence on the international scene since the days of Aermacchi (another axis brand).
