Mirrors w indicator lights

This is kind of related to an earlier post I had regarding using the indicators as running lights. My quest has so far led me to believe that an option may be to put running lights in clear lenses where the indicators are, and then modify the mirrors to include indicator lights.

Has anyone tried to mount the Gixxer 1000 mirrors with indicators on the Busa (pics would be great)? Or are there better indicator mirrors out there? <i></i>
