Yeah, I agree 100% Volvi....

Thank you Jennifer, for such a complete and highly informative return of correspondence by you! Very Happy

And another HUGE THANK YOU for standing by your product and being "up for the challenge"! Pi_thumbsup

I also would like to take advantage of a discount off the price of a set of your farings, and in exchange I would be more than happy to provide an honest review of your product to all of my fellow club members!

This makes great sense to me......an honest and open full review of both your Gen1 (by moi) and your Gen2 (by Remsta) farings, which would cover all (ie:BOTH) bases!! Yes

And if your products are as good as you say....I would also not rule out being involved in a discounted club "group buy" in the near future on another set!! Pi_thumbsup

Thanks & looking forward to your return correspondence,
bazman

I'm most likely looking to get the original paint scheme, are you looking at a custom paint job Bazman?
Just thinking that it would be worth reviewing their ability to duplicate original paint schemes and their custom paint jobs.

Yeah Rem,

If it's a go-er....I'd be lookin' at either a one-off custom or race-inspired jobbie.....

met a bloke a few weeks back (when I bought a tank off Donovan) that professionally installs these aftermarket type farings as well (90% of his work....forget the name of his shop, but it's on King Georges Rd in Syd)

How 'bout it, Jennifer?!? (...juz send myself & Remsta a PM with some firm details if we can do this)

Ha ha ha.......Nah, Remsta, ur juz the exact opposite of me, that's all (I generally juz cruise along and usually don't rush [most] things)!

I think what is happening here is that Jennifer is waiting to see if there is much "interest" amongst the club, to workout if it's worth her while?!?

I've been a member here for a couple of years now.....and in that time I have noticed that there is a VERY BIG INTEREST in these aftermarket farings (especially lately with lots of our club members obtaining track bikes, and doing track days on their street busa's as well)!

Maybe she is juz waiting for other members to show some more interest in her products?!? Undecided

What she probably doesn't realise at this point, is that a lot of our members seem to be in "lurking" mode as of late, and not actually posting much (for a multitude of different reasons)! That being the case atm.....but we all know it isn't truly indicative of exactly how much busa owners (especially the ones around here) spend on mods and bling for their ride! I guess you could put a lot of us in the "highly discerning" category of bike rider Nerd.....where we generally only part with our cold hard $$$ UNTIL we are ASSURED that it's a QUALITY product!!!

exactly, but i think it will stem further than just forums, about 3-4 of my mates are also asking me about after market fairings for other bikes, if there proven to be the ducks nuts, im sure she will see a bit of income come from our members, and friends of friends and so on

one thing iv been thinking, are we able to order a split kit, as in, busa front fairings, and gsxr1000 tail section??

I just don't want to be still waiting to place an order after some idiot cage driver has opened their car door onto my bike, Pi_freak or I hit some loose gravel on a bend Confused etc, etc. I want to swap fairings while she still looks perfect!

That's a very interesting question, Skidmarx Pi_thumbsup.....we've all seen so many of these faring companies "spring up" lately.....but they all seem to be selling "complete" kits!?!

If they can sell the full kit.....surely they should be able to sell individual panels and "combo's" as well??? Undecided

Jennifer, could you respond to this particular situation, please?

Have you guys tried asking on the website or are you just asking here? They are probably selling through every motorcycle forum and very seldom would they be checking posts to see if people have asked a question. Go to the site and ask, I bet you get your answers a lot quicker than what you will waiting for a reply here.

Thanks! And yes, it's one of the small benefits of doing business with us. Everyone who works for Motorcycle-Fairing.com speaks English fluently. My boss Mark who sometimes answer the phone is not a native English speaker, however he is fluent and speaks 5 other languages! Which is 4 more than I do Lol3

I completely understand and appreciate your kinds words.

I've been looking for a high quality set of aftermarket fairings for my bike since I bought it. Problem has been that every website and ebay seller I have contacted has struck me as dishonest about their Gen 2 fairings. Practically all of them have allowed me to believe that the fairings were injection molded until I asked for complete assurance that they weren't compression molded, which I know often has fitting and quality problems.
You sound honest to me and hopefully willing to stand behind your product.
As Vellaterra has said, I want to put my original fairings into storage in case I ever decide to sell my bike. And from other threads, I know there are a lot of members who would like to do the same.

So, I'll gladly do a review for you. But, fair warning, I am a fussy guy who likes his Busa looking perfect, and as you say, it will be an HONEST review.

As I've said before, I've been looking for a while, so I'm keen to get this organised as soon as possible.

I spoke to my boss about this, and he has said that he's willing to ship out two fairings for just the cost of shipping in exchange for a prompt and honest review. He just said the following rules need to apply:

1) The community needs to agree that they will accept your review as honest and reliable if we send them out to you.
2) You need to be realistic with the expectations. These are great fairings, with precision fitment and high quality paint. They are however aftermarket fairings and we do recommend professional installation. You also need to understand that they are made to order, and lead time can be up to 21 business days.

If you're OK with those two stipulations, then contact me at jennifer at motorcycle-fairing dot com and let's get this show on the road.

Same goes for anyone on this board, if you guys have any questions or concerns, please feel free to post in this thread, contact me via PM or for the quickest response send me an email at the above address.

Thanks!

Yes, you can order individual parts. Please check out this page for example:

http://www.motorcycle-fairing.com/gsx130...ing-05.htm

You can click on the drop down menu which is above the add to cart button and and place individual pieces into your kit, rather than the whole kit.

Here's where a little honesty comes into play, our color matches are not guaranteed to be 100% which can be a huge turn off to some people. I don't want to say they're terrible, it's not as though if you order a red fairing you might get orange, but if you really get close to the bike and in the proper light really analyze it, you might see a color difference. If you're VERY peculiar about everything looking 100%, a better option is to order a blank fairing with just the base coat. From there you can take your blank fairing into a local paint shop and they can take the color code from your OEM fairings and do an exact match. Unpainted fairings are less expensive on our website than painted fairings.

On the other hand if you're not very peculiar about it, it shouldn't be a problem at all. Just a heads up so you can decide for yourself rather then putting a few forum members in a precarious position of being unhappy.

If it's over the weekend, I'd definitely suggest getting in touch with our support via phone or email support@motorcycle-fairing.com as I don't work weekends. However I am planning on contributing to this community of wonderful people. I didn't simply mean to come here and post a link to the website, never to be heard from again.

Yesterday we had a situation in our office which prevented me from getting online, but normally Monday-Friday I will be checking in to answer your questions here in your community where you are comfortable. It's the least I can do :)
