Going for ride around tassy.Warrnambool to melbourne.on the ferry sunday night.seven days in tas.two busas and four scotters,one land criuser with all the gear.Should be fun.cheers

Have fun mate. Tazzie would rock on a bike. I'm going over end of year. Do me a favor though and report how your bikes handled by the spirit of tazzie cause that's my main concern about goin over.

G'day Grant,

Did my 1st "tassie tour" this year juz before the WSB w/end at PI......WoW....cannot wait to go BACK (prolly the SAME time next year)!!!

The only thing I'll do differently next time is taking MORE time (10-12 days) to do it.....coz we missed out on doing a lot of "touristy" stuff!

Have lots of FUN mate.....the west coast is (virtually) ur own private racetrack, ooooppps , I mean road!!!!



ps: don't 4get ur wet weather gear....u'll most prolly need it at some point!

myself & franko were in tassie on 18th to the 25th of march it was my 1st time & franko 6 time
we stay at waratah for 2 days on the west coast just loved the roads around there then moved over to
highlands lakes for 3 days then road to the east coast in the rain on the way over to Bicheno where we stayed for two more days just coming into town the water was coming over the road and an hour or two later we were flooded in till about 11-12 the following day on the friday we left for the boat the long way up over elephant pass road st marys was still flooded so we had to turn back to head for the highway back to deveonport had the best time even with a bit of crapy weather i will be back just not to sure when awsome stuff.

Grant were you going to queenstown from the east side on wednesday? if so we may have seen you i did notice one busa with an R-1 with afew other bikes behind the front four bike were really on the move hope you have as good as time as we did cheers

We got off the boat &headed to stanley.Rode off with the four scooters and other busa Got there in the rain,others went for coffee.karina and i went up the nut on the chair lift.Walked to the cliff end in the rain.Big drop from up there,and nearly blown off the top.Went for coffee.had lunch at boat habour beach.handy having the land criuser with food & extra baggage .stayed ulverstone Some went running with hash house crew.tues cruised off to barrington latrobe,sheffield, railton.rained most of the day.then one of the scotters hit the guard rail at overpass out of deloraine.Brocken ankle,wrist & arm.Notgood.ambulance to launceston.Stayed to two days,rained most of the time.lesleys birthday was the day of the smash.Had a party in the ward with hats & a cake thursday.Went down to hobart friday.rode up mt wellington,misty & cold.good corners if you don`t get run over by busses.met some of the hash house boys on there bikes sunday.Took us two busas on some great winding roads back to devonport.Have to have two weeks next time.With no floods over the east side of tass.and no accidents cheers from grant.
