You dont need them on that bike
buy direct from JE through John Noonan
If you want to buy new OEM's than its worthwhile looking at JE's , Wiseco's, CP and Ross etc...you will need to run a 80thou spacer too and consider changing the valve timing to compensate by either 1 of 2 methods.
Buying direct from JE isnt cost effective, look at others ( distributors ) in the USA or Wolf Racing up your way. There prices are very good I have found.
Dont believe that a set of after market pistons is going to save you with that setup...how many times has it blown up / been rebuilt?
Gazza,
A combination of my lack of knowledge on turbo's and a incomplete setup has let to a few rebuild's..
I'm looking at a new setup... new computer that reads boost (the one from S&R Pro) going to get rid of my PC111r, Space plate with adjustable cam timing, Water injection that comes on when building boost.
I need new Pistons.. so I'd rather JE's or similar because I'm guessing they'll be better than OEM ones.
I going to to pump some money into setup of the turbo.. as what I have now is shit.. By the time I'm finished it.. it will be alot more relable.

People have run std Busa pistons to over 400hp. with the Dr Turbo you have you'd want to see how much hot air its pumping at higher boost levels. High Inlet temps are not good news
Only reason its burning holes in pistons or lancing down the side past the rings is due to temp....crap A/F and very hot inlet temps due to running the compressor in a very in efficient range due to boost levels....and fuel ( maybe ).....everyone Grant has more or less thrown those old Rajays away.
If ya going to throw alot of money at it then the JE's will do fine, although with the lower CR the bike will be little weaker under no boost conditions.
