They "targeted" bikers in Lygon St a couple of nights ago.

Result: Out of 57 infringement notices issued, only 8 given to bikesEek

Today I took a run out to Marysville......even sat under the banyan tree contemplating rides from the dark dim past.........I saw 6 cop cars out & back. Got stopped for the old licence check + breath test rope a dope, no car drivers stopped at all.

we were out that way today, i got a defect notice because i have a tail tidy instead of the oem one, and ROD the hoon, got booked in the black spur, but the really stupid thing is the cop that gave me the defect was because my tail tidy doesnt have a reflector on it, and it doesnt stop stones flinging back at people behind me, but he failed to notice that i removed the side reflectors on my front wheel or that i had pipes on that prob wouldnt pass there sound level test, but on the up side i didnt get the $300 fine i was meant to get with a defect

They laser you hidden in bushes on the sides of the road. Usually somewhere high above the road on a corner where your attention is fixated on surviving. Even when a human enters a state of self defence his instincts rarely tell him to look beyond 45 degrees upwards. So you've really got no chance of spotting them when you're attacking vanishing points.

Anyway these "tree monkeys" radio a second team up ahead with your details. The second team pulls bends you over and sodomises your pride when you arrive.

I've always been offered to see visual evidence by police when they claim I was speeding, and I always check. Logic suggests it's my legal right, but my gut suggests they only offer it to assert even more authority.

When are the people of Australia going to standup to this ridiculous situation. We elect these Animals & then they let loose with these Human Rights abusers who relish this sort of job.
In Europe they wouldn`t be putting up with half the shit these Tyrants unleash on us. FTW

Just read this post on another forum today. Found it quite interesting by comparison. As for it's truth ?

The speed cameras don't even register motorcycles. In Norway, there's not alwas a camera in the boxes. They aren't allowed because of the Privacy Act.
And man, it can be funny. Most cage drivers don't know that motorcycles don't register, so if you drive by an automatic speed camera too fast, the person in the car behind you think there's no camera in the box.

We get taken for a ride in this country big time! And they call this a free country?? We need to start standing up for ourselves, and change what's wrong for future gens to have the life we should. Rules don't have to be this way, we have a voice. If our Ozzie attitude of sticking our head down and pretending it's not happening- it will only make matters worse in the long run. I love this country and still think it's the best place on the face of this earth. But it's a shadow of what it can and should be.
