I have just put an AGM Gel cell from SSB powersports into my bike. Seems good so far but have not run it for long unfortunately sorry.

I use GEL battaries in the trailer for my 12v stand-alone power supply for the telescopes & stuff. They work great. Don't have one in the bike. Probably will next time I change.
I have 2 x 100ah batteries & when I'm "out" with the telescopes they run; 2 or sometimes 3 telescopes all night, every night. Lap-top computer all night, every night (driving telescopes) 12v 60L fridge 24/7 while away from home. 12v fluro + 12v lights in trailer (on & off as usual use) While away from civilisation I recharge daily with 4x 20w solar panels. Running all the above, I can be self sufficient indefinately (as long as there's sun at least avery 2nd day for charge top-up.) |
