Depends on the manufacturing process to say if there any good I'd say personally. I'm sure you could find cheap Galfers on EBay or even good secondhandys would be ok if don't wanna spend the coin.

My gen 1 turbo and Gen2 1441 both run Rays Braketec ductile full floating disc's and pads with braided lines. Both bikes now have exceptional stopping power (for a big heavy busa).

In the begining the discs and pads were horrendously expensive but worth every cent for the confidence they inspired, knowing you could outbrake most bikes over and over again without fading, even on the track.

Braketec are much cheaper now they must have revised their pricing againt the oposition. Remember you are probably comparing stainless wave disc's against full ductile iron for similar money. Do you want wavy disc's that are shiney and look hot or stopping power.

Talk to Ray its money well spent.

Yep put a set on mine K8 & the last one 99, I can fault them for the road & drag strip, then I also put Braided Lines on latter as the old lines were over two years old, don't know how they would be for track days but the metal in them probably came from Australia anyway Pi_thumbsup

EBC sintered pads and braided lines on my 10.

A big difference. Much more feel and power.

I've got a 2006 with Arashi wave discs (off ebay), braided lines and EBC HH pads. The pads made the most difference. I'd say I'm now happy I have adequate braking, with consistent feel wet or dry and reasonable initial bite.
