Had a lucky escape on Boxing day, as i was turning off homebush bay drive joining the freeway lost the front end resulting in myself and bike parting company .
The Panniers are scratched up .
Lucky i had the case protector or it would have been far worse
And slid into guard rail and bent my exhaust.
Glad i had the right gear on as i slid for a bit and only hurt my ego.

Good to hear your gear was on and that it was only your ego that was hurt mate.

Oh you twit. Thank goodness you weren't going any faster. BUT THE PANNIERS!!! They are the only cool panniers I have ever seen!! Can you get them repaired?

Still not fully sure , it was just a dumb mistake.
It was really wet and just tipped in and away it went wasnt pushing too hard . My leather and wets have only lightest of marks.

Glad to hear you are ok Loafie.....lucky you went into a guard rail rather than the cheese slicer cables.
1hotbusa and I will again open the spannering headquarters, complete with BBQ, if required. We have a garage and heaps of space....many hands make light work.
