Stainless steel warps when it gets hot, so I wonder if any brake discs are made from it.

The magnet test wont necessarily work. Different frsades of stainless are magnetic depending on what has been added. For example, stainless steel rulers are definitely magnetic.
Btw Rainbow, many rotors are made of stainless.

I understand that Brake Tech are among the very few manufacturers who use iron disks. The rest are using various grades of stainless steel.

The ceramic rotors are just amazing!!! But who has $3.5 grand for rotors realistically. They are beauties though!
