Sometime this year, we taxpayers may again receive another 'Economic Stimulus' payment.

This is indeed a very exciting program, and I'll explain it by
using a Q & A format:


Q. What is an 'Economic Stimulus' payment ?

A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.


Q. Where will the government get this money ?

A. From taxpayers.


Q. So the government is giving me back my own money ?

A. Only a smidgen of it.


Q. What is the purpose of this payment ?

A. The plan is for you to use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.


Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China ?

A. Shut up.


Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the Aust. Economy by spending your stimulus cheque wisely:


If you spend the stimulus money at Coles, the money will go to China or Sri Lanka.


If you spend it on petrol, your money will go to the Arabs.


If you purchase a computer, it will go to India , Taiwan or China.

If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico , Honduras and
Guatemala.

If you buy an efficient car, it will go to Japan or Korea.

If you purchase useless stuff, it will go to Taiwan.

If you pay your credit cards off, or buy stock, it will go to management bonuses and they will hide it offshore.

Instead, keep the money in Australia by:

1) Spending it at garage sales.

2) Going to the footy.

3) Spending it on prostitutes or

4) Beer or

5) Tattoos.

(These are the only Australian businesses still operating in Australia )

Conclusion:

Go to a footy game with a tattooed prostitute that you met at a garage-sale and drink beer all day !

I didn't get a damn thing out of that last "stimulus package" nor did I want anything. If they really wanted to stimulate consumer spending, they'd lower the taxes on the middle class and on small businesses.

I didn't get a damn thing out of that last "stimulus package" nor did I want anything. If they really wanted to stimulate consumer spending, they'd lower the taxes on the middle class and on small businesses.
Giving poor people money is not the solution.

I Agree. This STUPID Goverment thinks the dole bludgers can spend the money better than the honest middle class. See we are the suckers to the Goverment and the Dole Bludgers. Thats my thought anyway. I believe there is a small percentage of people who deserve the stimulas package. Example, My EX works full time, has lied to the CSA and gets a healthy extra income tax free ontop of her income, gets 100% family benefit, gets the child bonus. See if your good at knowing the system, its open to corruption. But not that they are doing anything wrong because the Govt approves it and Centerlink are paid to make shore this corruption is advertised to their "clients". I care for our chilgren aprox 40% of the time and get nothing, Quite proud that I do it on my own, without help. But the bludgers of society are the ones to blame and the labor Govt depends on their vote. Do you think my Ex would vote Liberal, not in your life.
Just my winge for this year, now I am getting on with my life.......Back to my kids for the rest of the month and back to work as well to support the LOBOR Govt. Thats the suckers we are!

Yeah it's an unfair system. This Gov changed the Child Support rules when they got in.

The mother of my 17yo hasn't worked (at a proper job) a day since she had the baby. She's a hairdresser & so does a lot of cash jobs at home.
She also claims the Single Mother's Pension so she gets all the discounts & benifits + she gets maximum Child support from me. ($350 / wk)
So she gets quite a tidy sum each month.

The mother of my 9yo works full time for a modest salary, gets 50% of the value of Child Support that I give to the other one ($190 /wk) with no other assistance. She is struggling to pay off her own home as well.

So according to this governments Child Support policy, single mothers get paid more to sit on their arse at home.

I voluntarily pay more to my 9yo's mother to help her out.

C$A are not interested in chasing the money because of his "low income". In his own evidence he has stated that he spends $10K a month on himself.

Babybusa, we might be going our Ex's, but only on ligit grounds, I feel for you if you were in that situation because I do not condone such thugery. You would have no idea how much crap even men have to go thru. My Ex deliberitly harrased, assulted me in order for me to strike back, but I didn't. So for every Bastard Man there is out there you will find a Bastard Women too. All I am saying is what is not fair about certain cercimstances, mainly mine.
I am in a current relationship with a women with four children who recieves NO support from her Bastard Ex who sits on every benefit that exists. He is a bludger and He thinks its OK and he still to this day try to push for more benefits. She has self funded, plus social benefits and supported her kids for the last seven years and continues to do so. The Centerlink department even has the ordaisity to harras her about HER employment and is always attempting to push her to increase her income, yet she does the best she can.It stinks , Thats all. This Bastard Labor Govt needs to be taken out. But we have too many sheep in this country, I bet those dopes who voted them in would not even admit they vote labor.
