G,day, I am 75 kg and run the front pre loaders 1 line down and bump dampening 1 click harder. Rebound standard. On the rear I back the pre loader off 3 full threads and soften the bump and rebound 2 clicks. Found the standard rear settings very good for 2 up riding, combined rider/pillion weight of 145 kg. In my opinion the back of the standard gen 2 comes set up way too hard. Found that even small high speed bumps caused the bike to kick in the arse and bike would not bog down and hook up out of corners well. Also any minor humps or hollows mid corner caused the bike to move laterally in the rear instead of following a consistent radius. Found these settings combined with cold tyre pressures of 38F/36R works for me. On a hotmix track you will most likely run even lower pressures.Have a blast, PaulVery Happy.

Not sure about the suspension settings on a Gen 2, but sounds like Paul's settings are a good place for you to start the first session, then experiment by softening or stiffening the dampening to see if you notice any difference/improvement.

Tyres: they normally suggest 28 or 30 (measured when cold) at the track.

Thanks guys. I now have something to work from. Tire pressure settings are interesting. Thanks again. I've got carbon wheels so should just mainly need comp the most I'm thinking. Can anyone tell me the diff between the two gens suspenders mainly-are they fairly similar??

I remember setting a mates gen 1 up in 2006 and it was way to stiff in the arse as well.Very Happy.

I ran 30/30 when I had a Pilot Power front with a Pilot Road 2CT rear, and it stopped most of the cold tear on QR. Any higher, and it started getting squirrely later in the session.
