Hi everybody,
I'm on the hunt for a set of fuel injectors for the turbo busa and I have been told from a number of people that Honda S2000 injectors are the go for my application. Another bonus is that they bolt straight in. However I have been searching Ebay and other online injector places and not getting much luck with locating these things.
Does anybody know where I can procure these things. I want to get 250rwhp at 80% duty cycle on the injector. The bike needs to be street rideable.

Graham if your still using the TSI ecu you may be better changing to the same injectors others are using with the TSI.
Having a starter map thats close will save a lot of expense on the dyno!

What injectors are getting fitted in with the TSI unit at this point in time. I'm guessing they are rc engineering by name. Would I be correct?

Leonard or Cas may be able to answer that better but i think 600cc low imp were commonly used in that setup.
RCinjectors are good , there are better out there, for big injectors to idle and part throttle well, quality and design is important .
To fit most non std injectors the TB's will need modifying.

I have 650cc Sard injectors in mine, but 550 might be alright for yours, Leonard will know for certain what size you need for that kit.
I had to drill out the throttle bodies where the injectors go, as well as make up some 12mm spacers for the fuel rail.
You will also need bigger grommets to fit the injectors.
I also bored out the fuel rail to 9.6mm(I think) just check the O ring size and take off 1.6mm.
I hope you didn't think the hard work was already done Graham, this is the bit where you start asking why the f*** did I start this.

it means gazza , you modify the standard injector to flow more fuel . works great , no need to modify fuel rail <i></i>

Graham , check out the Honda S2000 forum website...every now and again they come up as these guys are crazier than Busa owner when it comes to modifying.
Also sometimes on the *org site..... you wont get any change outa $200USD plus shipping 2nd hand. You'll then need to get them ultra sonically cleaned which can be another $30ea + for that. <i></i>

Greg has given me some alternatives for injectors so that part is starting to take shape. I am well aware that I am not finished by a long ways yet, all I am doing is getting stuff together so that when I commence the project that I have as much of the things I need to hand. I have worked as a toolmaker during my apprenticeship so machining things doesnt scare me, and I have access to both lathe and mill, so I can do whatever I want within reason. Hopefully I'll make it to Rapid without the S&R Pro sticker, which seems obligatory these days.
MechanX, I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but taking ECU tuning out of the equation the only ways to get more fuel into the motor is to either increase the fuel pressure via a rising rate regulator (FMU) or by fitting bigger injectors. Standard injectors flow a given amount for a given duty cycle at a given pressure, hi flowing them could only involve higher duty cycles or higher pressure. Just my thoughts.

So how much power requires how much injector flow? a goodrule of thumb is KW x 7 =cc per minute per injector .So if a 6 cylinder engine develops 250 KW ,each injector is required to deliver enough fuel for (250 divided by 6 = 41.6 KW) about 42kw. 42x7 = 294 cc per min or ,in round round figures 300cc per min . simple <i></i>
Graham I fitted Blackbird injectors in my bike for over 300hp. should suit your 250hp requirements perfectly and are reportedly much easier to map for low-throttle than the s2000.
