How come you want to sell her kev? Last time we spoke you were full of Vim and Vigour to build the old girl up into a showy. It's not a small job to do is it?

Cheers

My 2 cents worth. My '99 came along an s1000 beemer today along the old road. i saw full throttle from the s, and the stock 99 was still there. he didn't like corners as much as me so Busa still gooood!!!. Pillion room good. Chuck a rack, saddles and tank bag, storage good. Hmmmm, RAAF kept the PIG (F111) in the air for 40 years??.....

good choice big kev i had a M109R before i brought the busa i had alot of fun on it they take abit of getting used to as they are a big heavy bike but boy can they pull. get rid of the speed, rev and 1st 3 gears retarder and they once they stop wheelspining come up they very easly pull away in 2nd gear which is good because i found for such a torquey motor 1st gear was too short.
SPEED ISN,T EVERYTHING BUT IT SURE IS FUN.

i did 30000ks on mine and never had any gearbox problems i read on the 9forum get out of 1st gear quick like 2500rpm and it helps stop the clunk from 1st to 2nd. mine was a 2006 but i think it was the 2008 onwards they changed the gearing abit to lower the revs which kept it out of the 4500rpm vibrate at 120kph. these are a big torquay motor and controling all that vibration took some doing but they are smooth and fun. i know you would enjoy one as i know if i had the money i,d buy another one to rod up. wouldn,t sell the busa thou.
