Your goal photo does look great. Looks like it suits even better than on the Gen II. Stirring thoughts in me to finally make a start on restoring my old '83 Kat !! Now all I need is the money, time, and place to do it............

It will be very interesting to see your progress.

Ok well i started the conversion today guys . pics say it all , im so happy with what i have achived . there was the odd teathing problems . pic 017 in the folder , i had to trim just a touch off the stock undertray as it was hitting the frame . my happy point here today was when i slipped the seats on to the bike and it was a perfect fit ,

enjoy the pics . ive made a ablum so all members can enjoy

That looks tops Kev. Did you change the sub-frame to the Gen II as well ? and did your Gen I seats fight straight on to the Gen II conversion ??

I like your taste in styling ! Its making me think again...... do I pull her apart again (seems like I spend more time with my bike in bits, than I do when its all in one paice ???)

Ps Do you have a shed ?
