tacho needle melted

hi all
ive already pm a few members as im looking for a tacho needle as mine in the last few days has been distorted/ melted from only what i think can be the sun magnified through the double bubble screen
bloody surprised when i noticed it today as it wasn't there a few days ago and ive been through some sunny day this summer with no problem at all
if anyone with a damaged dash could help, im more than happy to pay for the part, freight (and handling if needed)
its actually melted in middle on the edge with a slight stain on the fascia but hasn't affected the operation but i don't want a melted needle on my dash.

Gen 1 or 2 ?

I've got a melted spot on my Gen1 dash from magnified sun from the double bubble screen. In the past some members put a sticker at the front of their screen to help stop this. I know it doesn't help in your case, but you're right in how it probably happenned.

I hav a spare needle. I will dig it out and it is yours for the postage. ah fck it it is yours,, cost more than 50c in bank fees to do any sort of ecxchange.

Hey davrai - what DB screen do you have?
Tossing up between the Zero Gravity and the Puig and if yours was one of these I may swing the other way.

I have a Powerbronze DB with a dark smoke tint. No probs with sun, looks good, perfect fit and does it's job really well.
