Doing a GSX-R1000 rear end conversion on the Busa...

A work in progress, but well on the way.

'09 Gold/Black Busa
Akropovic full system
X-TRE,
Power Comander 5, and Auto tune

Will be dropping the gearing down a little soon, and hopefully getting some Carbon Wheels.

I've got Pirelli Diablo Corsa III's on my Busa, and they're great on the track ! Even had to take the hero pegs off the old girl.

Here's a few more....

Taking my time, and probably being a little to pedantic but I really want to achieve a stock look and finish quality.

ATM Pretty sure I'll keep the Gold/Blk thing going...

Dont see too many gold busa's around, and it's 10 years from the original, and a kinda close hint back to the original coper bike.

But well see... She might get a full paint at some point!

PC5, auto tune and X-TRE on now, dropping the gearing this week when I get time, so should be a wheeling monster...

should be fun!!

Yea...
I was thinking about weighing the new sub frame and stuff but got carried away ...

I know there's def a big difference.
the hole new rear end actually weighs close to the busa rear body work..., just the plastics and light....
The busa sub frame, is so heavy.
