Hi all,
I have a concern about my rear brake.
Can you guys lock the back wheel up if u want to easily?
Mines very firm (no air in lines) but It doesn't feel like it used to before powdercoat/new reservoir and braided lines..
I tried to lock the rear wheel up in the wet with no success..
Cheers

I checked that both sides move..
The lever is so hard and only moves like 5mm before it's too hard to push. Seems weird
Is the lever getting full travel or meeting an obstruction. Try adjusting the height of the lever. If there is no air in the line and pads and pistons are good then it can only be travel.

Barring anything actually wrong with your setup, you DON'T want to lock your rear brake up(!) easily.

I dont think the rear brake is likely to lock in a "normal" stop because their is still a lot of weight on the back wheel and the back brake is "small". Small friction area, small piston etc.
It will however lock in an emergency stop when the weight is on the front wheel (not recommended!)

When you bleed the brake at the calliper is the lever soft ? ......if its hard to bleed you got a blockage in the master cylinder or the lines....you just gotta check everything.....process of elimination....good luck.......
If it doesn't feel good........Your doing it wrong !!!
