Thanks again everyone who reads and comments. The only issue I had with the repairs was very minor.
Once the nose cone came off the bike and the new one went back on, the headlight was terribly out of alignment and had to be wound up about 3 full turns on the vertical adjustment to set it again. I didn't discover this till my first evening ride.
The service manager from Chris Watson motorcycles even drove to my home to fix this and I would be remiss not to mention the terrific service and quality of repairs done by them. Their new shop and workshop in Cessnock must rank with the finest in Australia. Those who have seen it will agree, I'm sure.

At the risk of repeating myself......oh wow, the front wheel and the back wheel are the same colour!!!! Don't let the rear one go black now Ray...it'll spoil those spanky new fairings!!
