Pipes for 2010 Hayabusa
#1
Hi, I am looking at getting an 2010 platted white hayabusa.

What are the most common pipes that are being installed on on these new version hayabusa's.

I have an old 04 model with staintune pipes.
They are good with the baffels in, but a bit too loud for me comunting with the baffels out.

So really want a common pipe that sounds good but isn't too loud for gereral every day comunting.
Would really like to stay with twin pipes if possible.

Also looking to find some pics with some after market pipes installed to see what they look like as well if possible.

Any information is greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

Dude, Yoshimura is the only way to go.

The R77 is a popular choice: http://www.bikegearwarehouse.com.au/Moto...9-r77-slip

I prefer the TRS Duals, myself: http://www.bikegearwarehouse.com.au/Moto...2009-trs-d

How loud are these Yoshimura pipes compared to the sitaintune pipes with the baffels out?
Are they a deeper note, more crackle note, e.t.c.

Just don't want to have to wear plugs every time you want to go for a long ride.
Cheers.

I reckon the StainTune pipes are louder than the Yoshis. They certainly are if used on a twin. My mate's VTR is insanely noisy.

The Yoshi R77s sound is wonderful a bit too quiet with the baffles in and just awesome with them out. Never intrusive. Plus you get about 10ft/lb of torque in mid range, 5hp up top and lose about 12kg of weight.
Can't go wrong on a Gen II.
I have the stainless with C/F end caps. sweet!
If you are getting a white busa, the full C/F slip on pair can't be better'd.

Are they angels fasterfaster? Convinced my slip on R77 didn't make notable difference to power if anything increased fuel use but like the sound. More than enough street power standard. Been watching the flashing debate and would be interested in having it done if I had access. May have to ride east to visit fasterfaster.
