Weekend In Bathurst
#1
I am taking "her majesty" to Bathurst at the end of next month. Planning to ride down early Saturday morning, and come home Sundee arvo. Can anyone recommend places to eat, things we should see (apart from Mt Panorama obviously - thats Satdee arvo Biker ). Any resulting food poisoning will be dealt with accordingly Knuppel2 upon our return home.

Hey Craig, We did a run to Bathurst last year and stayed at the Panorama City hotel/motel.
It had lots of good clean rooms and food was ok.
The family hotel was the place to be on a Saturday night with good live music.
The RSL was dead as was the leagues club.
"If time catches up with you. You're going too slow!"

No worries Crumpy, we're staying at the Panorama City Hotel/Motel Saturday & Sunday of the long weekend....call in on Friday night at the pub and say g'day. Not sure about going fast on the road to hill end being long weekend/double demerits (probably), but make yourself known at the Panorama (leave a message at the desk if we're not there...or call 0412 308477 - the wifes' mobile and I'll let you know where we are).

Cheers
Craig

I stayed at the panorama when I went out there for the fires. Was nice.
Normally stay at the gold diggers when I used to go up there for the races. That's good as well.
Highly recommend the GT Angus for a great feed.

GT Angus sounds like a steak house...if it is Yes

It sure is, best steakhouse I've ever been to.
During the v8's up there, you can't get in for race teams so it must be ok. lol

I've just been tinkering with the Busa and bits, and noticed the zipper on my rackbag is broken. If I can't get it replaced under warranty (this is the second bag from the same supplier....not impressed really), I may need to borrow one for the Anzac long weekend. Anyone in the Newie vicinity be willing to lend me a rackbag???
