I have been looking at these for quite a while. Blokes been selling them for ages. Claims to inflate 5.0 V8s@ 5000rpm so should do the job on 1580cc@ (plenty more) rpm. Draws 60 amps so might be a problem for the Busas alt/battery etc. Tempting tho, its nice and small, and if you could work some electronic trickery into it so it produced some linear boost rather then just switching on under full throttle it might be worth the R&D.

I am extremely sckeptical that that would work on any engine.
Not only that, there is no way you would be able to run that with a 'busa's electrical system.

A proper crankshaft driven supercharger would be the ultimate for the road.
I am interested to see how they drive it, it must be off the clutch with some special new bits!
Would definitely have some gear hanging out the side of the fairings giving the game away!

Grunt re your comp ratio 8.5 :1 are you talking static or effective comp ratio here ?
Given the ideal situation is to be able to run as much comp and boost without detonation then the fuel you use would also need to be factor to consider into the total equation here. You may even wish to consider lowering your comp more and upping your boost level as this could serve you better.
Curious as to why you should ask the questions that you have Grunt from me when Jamie builds your motors ? Your probably best to consult your builder as he is the one having to put his guarantee of results and performance on the job. If it all goes pear shaped it's his rep on the line after all ?
In saying that ................. send me your cheque and I'll build it and guarantee it. But as you yourself have noted Grunt ........... I'm far to busy to "game" on
