The temp gauge reads normal (needle is at halfway point) but, geez, the amount of heat that comes out of the lower part of the fairing is ridiculous. I burnt my leg on the ride hand side of the engine!

I've ordered a Muzzy aluminium fan; hopefully that will take care of it?

you could have accidently touched ur leg on the exposed part of the engine just behind the fairing...its a wide bike and if you put ur foot down in the wrong spotwhen you stop ur leg can touch....just a thought btwWelcome and nice bike,i have a gen2 but love the shape of the gen1 congrats

I bought it in Nowra, which is probably why I got it for such a good price. (Not many sportsbike riders there.)

Why do you want to know what my number plate is?

Soooooo....I was out for a ride today, went over a certain bridge in Sydney, just casually going at the speed limit, when a black Porsche shot past me...so I dropped down a gear and left him for dead!

When he finally caught up to me at the traffic lights he leaned out of the window and exclaimed, "Man, that shit's fast!"

"Yep", I said...

Common, BBB will leave any stock Busa in the dust.
Rainbow7,
he is talking about Bruce's 1441 Busa and surely it can leave any stock in the dust.

Pan??? Have you been winding up 'busa riders?

As for the heat, you'll find it very welcome in winter when you stop at the lights and tuck your hands into the radiator exit ducts to defrost your fingers!

Y'know, I've actually never, ever had cold fingers from riding. I wear good gloves.

Where abouts in the Shire are you? I'm spending most weekends in Sydney at Sutherland Hospital for a while, I'd love to see this lowered beastie and buy you a coffee if you are nearby.
