Group Buy: Billet Annodised Rear Brake Reservoir
#76
I would like to start making them in a month's time from now. Will start with the Angled ones first.

That's because I've done the angled ones previously, and thus no need for any trial and error this time. As for the straight one, I will wait for 20 orders to begin. Generally speaking, I need to make maybe 2 or 3 more spares for the straight ones, to account for damage.

Oh, and obviously I never account or factor in prices for the damage pieces... I treat it as a challenge.

Pictures? here they are...

Let me know if you guys require testimonials as proof of the items I make. I've captured lots of screenshots.

No worries, it started out exactly the same way back then when I first did these stuff. Not many believed in me, but those that did were glad they did when they saw the items.

In any case, if you fail to receive the item after 1 month of payment, you can ask for a refund via paypal. That's the exact reason why I ask not to be paid first. I don't want a ticking timeline to stress me out.

Why not do us all a favour? Can you help find someone who is willing to do it for you, and share with us the price you managed to obtain. From your posts, it seem you might have some good network and connections.

I'm sure all of us want cheap prices with good quality.

Like I said, I'm not out to make profits. If you can find someone who is doing it cheaply, please do share with us, and co-ordinate a Group Buy.

Collecting it locally is not a problem. i replied you in your PM previously. In case I am not in town, you can collect it from a friend of mine, or a colleague instead. I'm cutting down my administrative time meeting up everybody who wants to buy. Imagine what would happen if everybody wants to meet. Postage fees are a rough estimate too.

Seriously doubt the price I charge can cover all costs actually. Here is what is involved.

1. Purchase aluminium
2. Cutting aluminium to shape
3. Anodizing reservoirs
4. Purchase bolt, spring washer, and washer
5. Purchase rubber cap
6. Package into box
7. Purchase bubble pack envelopes
8. Contact everybody to seek payment
9. Track payments and confirm addresses
8. Bring to Post Office to send them out

Hope you all can appreciate and understand what involves in doing a Group Buy. It does not include people who back out of the purchase after I have made the items, and refuse to pay. What do I do? Ans: Nothing.

A rough estimate for postage is around $10 based on previous experiences. That means it costs just a mere $50 for the reservoir.

Am I being nuts going through all the efforts, and not get recognised? YES!!!

It's not hard to see who is out to destroy, and who is helpful.

If you have subscribed to other forums, look at how they blast my quality, colour, price, etc.

There are similar products out there, which go for about double the price, excluding shipping fees.

Once again, please be appreciative that things are cheap, and the effort I have to go through.

If you are unhappy with my price, colour, answers, etc., simply do not add yourself to the list.

What's the point in complaining or blasting the post or Group Buy.... Undecided

I have seen your posts everywhere, in every single forum that I post It is rather obvious you have other motives in mind...

In fact, you have been so amazing that you are actually tracking down every particular online motorbike forum!!

There is another person with an exact similar profile, and simlar name also appearing in every post that I create. Is it really pure coincidence?

If you are a member of R1 and R6 long enough, you would have known why Group Buys are not allowed there. I requested for it to be taken down FYI. Try organising one there, and you will find out the real reason.

Here is what you have been posting everywhere. Its for people here to judge.

...and once again you fail to answer a simple question like why
you put R6 in your sig ?

You may notice im only on ASF, BK and here.
Your other posts were pointed out to my self and the many
others following your lie's, question avoiding and false claims.

Thanks for quoting me from other forum's.
Either post I would have been happy to make on here.

As you say, Its for people here to judge

I for one would HATE to see this thread removed. It contains legitimate questions posed to a person vending to members of the Australian Hayabusa Club. It remains a caution to members in this close community of ours that we just have to keep our eyes open to possible dishonesty in our midst.

To that end all entries in this thread are in fact legitimate and above board. It also contains valuable words from our leader Volvi.

I disagree, I was just asking you a question. I have asked you to include me in a group buy and then left the group buy because I was a little alarmed at your refusal to answer simple questions put by responsible members of this board. I like the look of the Gold anodised rear brake reservoir and am trying to track down whether you are who you want us to believe you are or not. Free market bloke. Our forum. I'm still not satisfied that you're answering simple questions honestly.
I haven't attacked you or been rude to you or abusive or anything like that, just inquisitive. There can be no harm in this honest quest can there?

I can believe you'd request this thread be deleted only if you have less than honest intentions, otherwise you would have no problems being upfront with us. Would you? Bright lights can be garish to dishonest people.

I am a member of this forum and have been for a long time. I am behaving in a reasonable and responsible manner. We are just asking you to stop muddying the water and be honest. You have beautiful kit, that should stand on it's own. Why does it look like you are you being slippery?

Regards.
