Just wanting to know if any Queenslanders have bought concert tickets off ebay?? Just went to purchase some tickets and it said that it was illegal to buy them in Queensland for more than 10% over the original value.
Any thoughts??
its called SCALPING here in NSW and is illegal . you cant sell tickets for more than the purchase price
You've got to be careful. at things like the Big Day Out, you are asked to show ID to prove that you are the ticket holder who purchased the tickets. I'd give it a miss unless you are DESPERATE to go.
Spandau Ballet perchance?
If you bought them on credit card, you have a record of purchase!!!! Go back to your credit card and find the transaction then ring the ticket seller!!! GOOD LUCK!! I lost tickets once 20 years ago for a major international act, and I'm still kicking myself.

I've bought tickets off Ebay a couple of times. (Chisel and J.Beck) Both were CHEAPER than face value! Like anything on Ebay...Caveat Emptor
(let the buyer beware). Check out who it is you're dealing with and make sure you pay the right price!!
PS If it is Spandau Ballet they should pay you!
It's a week by week charade.
