Oxley Hwy Upgrades..?

Heading up the Oxley 23-25 Feb but just seen on the RTA website that they are doing upgrades.

Does anyone know if this has started yet and if it is worth heading up?

Hey Big John,it's still well worth heading up The upgrade only affects the bit between the Pacific h'way & Wauchope.West of Wauchope is where the fun begins.
If time permits head out to Walcha & then south along Thunderbolts way to Gloucester Then do a uey & ride back to Wauchope
Watch out for

Yes most of the road works are around wauchope and they have done some patchs at the start of the mountain near Mt Seaview after that was ok I will be heading up there on the weekend will post if I see anything nasty.

Beer & BBQ at my place thusday night the 24th if your up here big_john drop in and join us going up the Oxley in the morning as we are heading for Tassie then.
