Motorcycle parking in Brisbane

QLD is a joke ! The place is over policed to the max and get this Im right near the QLD border and in QLD the cops are right on to you if you have a tail tidy,fender eliminator or what ever you like to call it but NSW no such problems.
Why? All the bikers need to get together and do something about it, Really the cops are out of control up there. They pick on motor bike riders too much.
So like yeah there going to give bikes parking space LOL!!

you could not have said it any better mate.We can proudly shout off the roof tops that we are the most shafted Aus citizens when it comes down to Rego prices:THE MOST EXPENSIVE!!!!!!!!................ohhh we also won an academy award in comedy for the state of our roads!!!

seeing that you guys have all these probs up in QLD.approach the MCC in QLD and get them to help fix the problem it will take time but it will get fixed guys.but to get it started it will need people like your selves being proactive

Guys i have recently come down from Cairns to live in Brisbane, what a mistake the police or should i say the German ss are so far over the top it's just not funny. Revenue raising, entrapment, and just plain if you are on a motor cycle pull over and i will book you for anything i can think of.When are we the riders going to get together and have our say, people here have a go at NSW and Vic, but the police wouldn't do to them as they have been doing to us and only because WE LET THEM by not getting together and standing up. I have been riding since my 16th birthday to now i am 52, and i have a 08 busa and a 06 GSXR1000, and i am getting to the point of dispair, if you speed and get caught you should get a ticket but these people follow you and use terms such as follow on, where there is no speed gun in the car they just use the term calculated speed and hand out a ticket. It Is not legal, last year a man by the naame of Scott Cooper who runs a company called speeding fine infringements took 1174 people to court and got 1170 of them off their fines that tells you something, the police are in the business of revenue raising so if your caught for any reason take it to court chances are they have done something wrong. Just in the last few weeks a friend of my challenged his fines which weree 5 in total and 14 points in the end he walked out of court loosing 3 points and recieved 1 ticket, 4 of the tickets were dropped, and all he did was plead not guilty and asked for the video after this was done and he went back to court for the last time the police prosecuter approached him with the deal, accept the first charge and we will drop the others. Because the police knew thay couldn't win, reason, because the police knew what had happened was illegal, and thay didn't want it to go to a judge!!!!! anyway sorry i get pretty P.... off about this type of thing.

If my mrs's contract ends or is terminated I would have moved yesterday.On the other hand what I dont like is dumb,ignorant racist people who for example think that a cows milking cycle will stop/change if daylight savings are introduced or curtains will fade in some sort of un-uniformed fashion Thats just a start,the list of stupidty is endless.Louwai why is it that you only asked me this question as there where others who complained abut this shit hole???

SA ,Mate, the only state where you get fined more for doing 9 km over the speed limit than you do having 1/2 oz of dope in your pocket.At least they got one thing right.This ain't the city of church's .

If, as you say, it's such a shit hole & the people are idiots, then seems like you really need to move somewhere that is more to your liking. If for nothing more than your own quality of life. I personally wouldn't want to live somewhere that I don't like.

I've lived in lots of different countries / cities around the world. I can't really say that I "didn't like" any of them, but there are a couple I probably wouldn't go back to. So I know where you're coming from if you're not happy where you are living.

As i said if it wasnt for the mrs contract(us europeans honour does) I would be out of here quicker than a camera flash.I sometimes offer my language skills to hospitals,police stations,gov departments etc etc and witnessing the "average joe" not able to direct a foreign tourist to a simple bus stop is a tad deperessing to watch.I should not need to charge the state $167 an hour for something as simple as organising transport or a pick up for a patient.Waste of money due to ingorance and lack of vision. Now the so called education department in Qld wants or has removed the mandatory foreign language programs in year 6,7 and 8 from their system cause they reckon that its not needed in certain areas........plain stupid,backwards attitude and draconic.On the other hand the tourism dept wants to promote qld to other countrys on how beautiful and welcoming we are................unfortuneately that wont happen or be as sucessful if the language programs are dropped due to the locals who where left in thier blissfull ignorance .This is the type of shit im talking about Louwai that I have witnessed at first hand.
THESE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS I DONT LIKE AND ITS THE AVERAGE JOE THAT HAS TO CHANGE THIS BY HAVING A VOICED OPPINION,NOT WINGE OVER A FCUKIN BEER AND DO NOTHING.I CAME TO A SAD CONCLUSION THAT,EVERYTHING IS REACTIVE AND NOTHING IS PROACTIVE HERE,IT SEEMS THAT FIRST IT HAS TO SCREW UP AND THAN WE FIX IT.

Unfortunately this is applicable to just about everything...there seems to be a distinct lack of foresight on many issues at the moment.
