Thanks for the nice words guy's, It was a pleasure to help a fellow member out, especially a member who is down atm. I am sure any of u would have done the same thing. Bruce, Bundy is hurt, she can handle being called a Bitch, but a Mongrel!!!??!!Lol2

Craig, u have bought a really nice example of an '07 Gen 1 'Busa, in Black, Yoshi' slip on's, Quality throttle lock, Kanji imprinted H'bar weights, <98% 2CT Pilot Road's fitted F&R, no obvious signs of abuse. U will get many years of joy from this bike if u look after it. Heal up quick so we can go for a blast with u!.Very Happy

Cheers,
Tex & Bundy

Just thought I'd give you guys an update....I went for some more xrays today and the fracture (actually a break) is still there but stable. I have to wear the neckbrace (a Miami-J neckbrace for those playing at home) for another 4 weeks (I'm off work for the entire month of January - that sucks, I'm bored shitless - you can only read so many books, watch so many DVDs etc) then go back for more xrays. Really need a shave but at least I've still got use of my arms and legs (which I apparantly was very close to losing). Will keep you guys posted as more info comes to hand.

Good on you, there is worse things than being bored shitless!! Keep up the recovery, sounds like you are doing a good job of it.

Gee Craig i'm sure there is plenty you can do instead of just reading books and watching DVD's. I knew a bloke that was in one of those spongey neck braces for months from a roller coaster accident and he managed to renovate his kitchen and bathroom himself......the fact that he was permanently off his face on pain killers might have had something to do with it Lol2.

Get better soon.

Bloody hell...I hope the wife doesn't read that!!! She'll get ideas. I'm actually not taking any painkillers at the moment (trying to give them a wide berth...not really a fan of popping pills) except for the daily ritual of Jim Beam & Coke...coz it's good for every situation!!!

I'm actually getting it before I can put a helmet on my noggin....hopefully pick it up 2nd week of the new year (the old man is gonna ride it back to Newie for me....not looking forward to seeing someone else getting enjoyment from my new toy....least of all the old man). Can't wait to get it home, clean it, detail it, oil & filter change, get it all spanky ready for me to ride.

P.S. my neck brace is not one of the spongy types...it's one of the very rigid plastic variety...if I wanted to move my head, I'm limited to about 1-2" in each direction....can't see my own chest or guts.

Well guys, finally picked up the 07 Busa today....called in to meet Tex & Jen, lovely couple.....was rather depressing watching my old man tearing up the freeway on my bike while I was stuck driving the wifes' Subaru (no comparison at all). Big thanks to Tex once again, now all I need is to get this neck brace off so I can enjoy the new toy.
