Carbtune Pro
#1
Does anyone have any pointers using a carbtune pro to sync their throttle bodies?

I followed instructions I found on a US site but must be missing something as the bike would not idle and was running super rich.

I reconnected the intake air temp IAT sensor to its coupler but this made no improvement.

Does the PAIR supply hose need to be capped?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Without knowing what you have done it's a little hard to suggest how to undo it ? Was the bike idling ok before you adjusted it ? Not being rude here but would suggest you take it to some one who knows the procedure for you could end up chasing your tale trying to get them back into synch. I take it it's Gen I for if it's a Gen II ICS needs to be held whilst balancing and then reset after balance procedure is completed.
Gen I also depending on how much you have adjusted would pay to check TPS base setting once completed and base idle reset

Thanks for the reply, I worked out I needed to connect the IAP sensor to No. 4 throttle body, bike idles now.

Thanks for the tip re: TPS, I'll be checking this once the throttle valves are sync'd.
