Hey All.....
I just wanna say a big "THANKS HEAPS, MATE" to Pete from "Pete's Pitstop" for supplying an awesome prize (HID headlight kit) that I was lucky enough to win at the "Tathra 10 Year Anniversary Weekend" back in early december!!!
I received my prize via Aussie Post very promptly, and Pete even paid for the postage .....so I'll definately be "popping in" on my next up north to re-imburse you for that, by way of a few drops of amber liquid!
Many thanks for supporting the event, Pete.....you're a champ, mate !!!
keep it fun,
bazman.
Have you fitted it yet? You'll actually go bonkers when you do, it is fanastic. You'll want to leap on the bike and race up there to thank Pete personally!

Bazman ........................a pleasure.
One tip when fitting you will need to make up a small spacer to sit behind the globe to make up the thickness of the original globe with holder (that is no longer used) for the retainer spring to locate properly on the globe and hold it securely.
Cheers

Ur F...... hopeless Bazz, unless it involves or u don't want to do it . Not that I see a problem with that!!!!!
Suggestion: Why not come up to my joint Sat' arvo' with said parts and we will fit them up over a few rumbo's!??!. Stay the night and we'll do the run on Sunday, if a few of ur down south riding buddies want to come up, no prob's.!
Cheers,

I also would like to thank Pete Shay from Pete's Pit Stop and the couple on the copper busa ( bad with names) who won the prize and then gave it to me for a couple of JD's. The prize was a zero gravity double bubble dark grey/black to suit my black & pearl grey K8. The generosity of all concerned was astounding and the new windscreen looks tremendous. I haven't tested it yet due to the thousands of tourists that come to Tathra each year and with them a high police presence. I needed the screen owing to the fact that I was nearly thrown off the bike at high speed on the Tathra loop on the other side of the Darrah overtaking Brooksy and others at 290+. The screen I'm sure will throw the air above me and since the wife ain't interested anymore I don't have to worry about the pillion as was the case on my blackbird. Cheers to our sponsors and our generous members!

No worries mate, thanks for the JDs Cathy and I were in Tathra the other days, had dinner at the Pub. Not a patch on the Bowlo' but staggering distance to the motel next door!
I don't want a pickle . . .
