replacing hand grips 04 busa

hey all . just wondering about changing the grips on my ride. can you actually buy grips that fit over the stock retaining lips on the throttle tube or do i have to file them off and fit the pushbike style grips that i seem to find everywhere. cheers.

1 of the 1st things i did to my black n purple misstress of speed was fit a set of ABM billet grips which i love to bits but sadly im looking to replace them with oxford grips when i get my breif back and go toureing

Buy an R1 throttle grip (about 15 bucks) then you can put any grips you like on your bike.

Pretty close mate...

They have the same solid bits either end, with the rubber underneath and the hold way along.
