Are there any members in the Penrith area that would be kind enough to inspect a second hand busa for me? I'm not really able to travel, and while I'm waiting for my insurance payout, I'm trying to get an idea of what's out there in the marketplace. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Craig

I would publicly like to thank Tex & Bundy for going out of their way on a stinking hot day early this week (think it was Xmas Eve) to look at a bike for me. Unfortunately I am in a neck brace from a little off I had, and Tex was kind enough to go and inspect an '07 Busa that was for sale (as I can't sit in a car for long periods of time comfortably - the bike is in Penrith and I'm in Newcastle). After Tex's advice, I have now put a deposit on the bike and will be picking it up shortly after new year (well, not me personally riding it home, but the old man, my lil bro, and a couple of mates are jockeying for position to ride it) and will call in to see Tex on the way home to thank him face to face.
Great bloke........went out of his way (and I've never met the guy).
Kudos to Tex. Thanks bud.
Will definately post pics...hoping to get it first/second week of the new year (shit....it's nearly 2010....where does the time go?)

Hey Craig...I can personally vouch for Tex & Jen on how beautiful they are. They have certainly made me feel extra welcome into the fold of this wonderful forum since I lost my hubby.
Your in good hands there...
May Marky always be with me and guide me through life
They are good people, and funny as hell. Bundy is his drink of choice if you are thinking of a thank you.
CJ its with honesty and sincerity that i can say that tex and jenn are 2 of the most honest and easy going people some things come to mind when i think of texn n jenn and theres only 1 catch frase that can define them as freinds "A SPADE IS A SPADE" they call it like it as they see it
i am giveing my bike to tex to work on not just because hes good but i know honestly that he will take care of my bike (plus im to tempted to keep rideing it with out a licence) and you can be assured if he inspects your bike and there is the slighest thing wrong he will pick it up . i never trusted bike mechanics ever as i always got bullshited by them but i trust tex with my misstress of speed 100%

Hey Craig - great news on the new bike mate. What colour is the newbie? Red, Black or Blue?.
I still have the offer open of reading material for you if you need to keep you out of trouble for the next few weeks.
Sounds like you have the pickup and delivery duties sorted - can't wait to see the bike and you back on it.
We still have your room at Nymboida held for you too.
(Unless you already cancelled) Let me know.
