Probably closer to have someone with similar mods send you a map that was set on a dyno , those generic maps can be worse than no pc at all

yes that would be good.
i have 1999 busa k&n filter twin bolt on yoshi rs3
and the baffle or what ever it is in the pipe between the crossover and wher the yoshis bolt on has been removed for less restriction on the standard header pipes.
any one with a map that suits it would be great.

ther is no dyno tuners near me.

yeah hello I have a 2005 with a pc3 and tre with a 4 into 1 Yoshi Duplex exhaust stand air filter stand air box and have tried the Asian map and the European map the Asian map is leaner and the bike ran better albeit the F1 Light came on so went with the European map for the Tenth Anniversary ride and although the light hasnt come on the whole bike was smoother before so would appreciate if anyone has a map for this setup

Many Thanks

Chasing a map for a gen1(2000 model) with slip-ons and air filter with flap removed and k&n filter , got a pc3 on the way. If anyone has something suitable for me to use till I can get a dyno sorted would be appreciated.

Hi All, Have owned my (stock) 99 several months now, with the addition of Yoshi bolt/ons, PC3 and BMC air filter. As I expected the PC3 "supplied" maps are too rich for our fuel, so a re,map seems the go. I have disconnected the PC3, in the meantime, till I get to Todd Patersons Dyno in Bunbury. My question is , do I need to disable anything temporarily, such as AIS etc to get accurate dyno readings.
Any advice is appreciated.

I would say they are better to use then the US maps. Reason being that American fuel is at least 15% ethanol blended. Hence, their jetting needs to be richer and as such, larger volumes of fuel need to be used. I have a map that will do the job for 98 octane.
