Just saw a dude get nailed by what looked like a dark blue unmarked divvy.......... or ute with top. It had blacked out windows all round & red/blue flashers on the front dash & on the roofline in the rear. Very shoofty indeed.....also spotted them in Turbo Territory's !

Whatever happened to Police Presence being a deterent to dangerous driving?
Unmarked is just revenue making.

Well if you deter people & stop them from infringing, what happens to the fines revenue base ?
they don't want to deter you, they want to catch you in the act & slap you with a virtual continuous road tax...that's why they introduced the licence points system..........to keep you going as a potential contributor...putting you off the road defeats the purpose (of revenue raising)...
The coppers who pulled over the mid week boys told them "I get half my daily quota of licence/rego checks in one quick hit" .....

Nothing new there... I remember seeing a silver dual cab Rodeo with colour coded canopy and dark window tint about 8 or 9 yrs ago somewhere between Sale and Morwell [I think- memory's a bit cloudy] on the way to the Island.
