Police Bikes Undercover
UNMARKED police bikes will hit the states roads from next month as the latest weapon in the battle against road carnage.
Two powerful motorcycles with hidden lights and siren would be trailed on the roads in the southwest Queensland during the January holiday period, Police Minister Neil Roberts said yesterday.
The unmarked motorcycles will look like civilian bikes, but will have red and blue LED lights built into the body work and a siren mounted behind the front cowling.
Motorcycle police patrolling on the unmarked bikes will not be in uniform, but will carry official identification. If the trail is successful. more unmarked bikes police bikes will be rolled out next year.

Sunday mail.
From what i have heard some of them are already active and typically they are Triumph bikes.

Actually, I think u will find that they will be Yamaha FJR1300's, all States are trialling them now, Victoria & NSW already have unmarked ones on the road, Qld police were evaluating them last year!.
With all their bullshit electronics over the top of the already soft front end, I don't think that they would be too hard to lose in the twisties, or the straights for that matter, only problem is their radio!!lol.
Cheers,

Saw a unmarked FJR (blue) in Rosbud on Sunday,he had a car pulled over, hard to pick from a distance.
Maybe they will trim their numbers back after a few get wiped out by drunk women drivers, after all, worker's comp legislation is worser than CTP, as in NSW Bob Carr also managed to stuff that up It would also may trim their numbers back when a few get decapitated by the RTAs new safety fences that especially designed to decapitate motorcyclists.
Unfortunately, as their vehicles are unmarked, no need to stop.

They will also avoid turning up at collisions when they know there is a biker on the road with blood filling his useless Australian Standards hemet until they know there is an ambulance at the seen so the poor little darlings don't get blood on their hands. Drunks love it, helps keep their blood alcohol readings down. What do they do if they pull over a drunk ? They could hardly pillion them down to the bacon station for a blood alcohol test ! Oh, but that does not matter as the poor starving Crudd Communist Aiustralian/Chinese Labor Government needs the revenue, after all, how they gona pay off over $300 billion in debt they got us all into in their brief time in Government

Funny you mentioned that, when i got in 'trouble' with the police on
the bike,
they didnt breathalise me...
Just curious, which standard of helmet do you think
is the best?
Cuz the yank ones, dont qualify for our standards i think.
Well you know, if it doesnt have the sticker, its illegal etc...

That Blue one runs out of Dandenong Traffic branch and is/was? only ridden by the Traffic Sargent who is actually a really good bloke and a good rider. Bundy has actually been for a ride on that one!lol.
As for the cops using K9's, last year in Texas they were trialling K8's!

Just curious, which standard of helmet do you think
is the best? - Snell 2005-USA DOT--Same is approved by MotoGP where riders regularly crash at over 300KMPH--MotoGP doesn't regognize Aust Standards. Shoei's are best, same as Pigs wear--same helmet--better price. Same Helmet but one doesn't have a pay the parasites sticker on it.Cuz the yank ones, dont qualify for our standards i think.

Northern Territories (Oz) farm hand, radios back to the farm manager.
'Boss, I got one helluva problem here... I hit a ruddy pig with the truck.
The pig seems OK, but he's stuck in the roo-bars on the front and is wriggling and squealing so blady much, I can't get 'im out.
The manager says,'Ok, there's a ....303 rifle behind the seat in the rack, take it, shoot the pig and you'll be able to remove it.'
Five minutes later the farm hand calls back, 'I did what you said Boss.
Took the gun, shot the pig in the head and removed him from the bull-bars. No problem there, but I still can't go on'.
'So what's the fuc*ing problem na mate?' raged the Manager. '
Well boss, it's his motor-bike....it's stuck under the wheel arch and the bloody blue light wont stop flashing..'
'...............ullo - you still there Boss?
Good to see you back Gruntmax, you had us worried for a few hours there.
Thanks Heidi. Is your new "Rack" on the way yet ?
