The cans are designed for the R6 and are made by Scorpion. Obviously the R6 only has one pipe so I had them make two and wrap the carbon differently (with the fold at the base).
The X-pipe collector was custom made in the US by a retired aircraft engineer. He did a cracker of a job as it flows better than the Akra system which is available for the max.
I love the new V-max. If my crystal ball told me I'd still be employed
5 years from now...I'd already have one, unfortunately...I don't know if
I'll be employed 5 days from now.
Beautiful bike just beautiful.

Plenty of pics but none I can see of your machine.
I have seen it in the flesh and it is an amazing looking bike.
I'm sure others are curious.
Don't be shy.
Hi DJ,
Careful not to open the flood gates!!
I have posted some pics of it but here are some more.. Gee it really looks the goods there, love the bling bits on the motor, motor is the focus of whole bike, the way it should be, lounge room material, when your not riding it that is..

The V-Max must have you twisting the thottle and grinning like a maniac Don't understand this have ridden with quite a few Rocket 3's and they would not blow wind up the Busa's arse, mine anyway

I think the key word here is "feel" I have ridden the rocket 3 too and it makes you feel like a big boy and its got some low down grunt too.
Real performance is another thing.. from any speed to any speed the rocket is too heavy to even come close..

That is an interesting point. "Real performance", I would think that would perhaps depend on your personal expectations based on your riding style?
I would be quite interested if you could elaborate on this please..

Yes please Larra.
Nobody stops and starts calculating gear ratios or working out the weight difference before they race the bloke next to them who just pulled up and indicated a need to test the acceleration capabilities of his machine.
Out in the big wide world, it's dog-eat-dog.
lounge room material, when your not riding it that is..
Lounge room - no its straight to the pool room for that bike

Will it out accellerate a busa in top gear at 60kph probably,
Will it out accellerate a busa in first gear at 60kph probably not.
