I WANT MY BIKE, I WANT MY BIKE!! Thursday night is a good wash and polish, chain is clean, all fluids are checked and the bike is looking pretty good too!

I'm excited.

Just done my alignment...and it needed adjusting. Strange how adjusting your preload will change your alignment....mmm

And now I get to put the bit of metal out of the rear tyre I found while doing the alignment. Hopefully it's not long enoung to require repair or relacement at this late stage.

It's a lot like Christmas! I rang my mechanic last night and he said he THINKS I can have it this evening. I said I was picking it up at 11am tomorrow whether it has brakes or bloody not! I suspect mine is going to be dirty!

Actually, with the great weather we're expecting, There'll be bling bling reflections all over Tathra. - unusual to have good weather for a Hayabusa get together. (Don't tell anyone, but I even washed mine -just a pity I've had to put the pillion seat and rack on, spoils the lines )

Just spent all day at a workshop in Artarmon getting protective skins fitted to the new paint job and paint protection put on as well as some shit hot stuff rubbed into the plastics, makes it look new, permanently!.
I was surprised at how much difference the skins made, they are 0.4 mm thick and make the paint look like it's got an extra coat of clear on it!. We also put some on the headlight in place of the headlight protector!. This stuff is strong, however time will tell how good it is. I will be writing up an article on it in the Feb' issue of Super Street Bike Magazine, by that time I should have at least 10,000klms of testing on it! Don't forget, next issue due on the stands 15 Dec'09.
Will catch up with those attending Tathra tomorrow, will go home now and fit up my Wilber's rear shock and my new Bagster Tank Cover which is the wrong shade of Blue!!
