Pc 2 adjusts the sensor readings so the std ecu adds or subtracts fuel & ignition,same as this thing does but electronic and much more versatile.
One of these fitted to the coolant temp sensor could change your ignition timing , advancing it as you turned up the dial (not always a good thing)
