You guys are just makin' me jealous now!!

I remember in 1985, a mate on a CB1100F and me on a CBX1000, floggin' up to Bathurst for the races, hanging off round a corner, 10/10ths totally going for it..... a bloke on a new katana glides past on the outside, knee down, takes a hand off the bars and gives us a wave and a nod. Totally demorolised me. I wanted one from that day, but was put off stories of them being bloody uncomfortable(but people get used to Ducatis). Probably had a few chances to own since. Now in the position, so if anyone knows of an original silver, 1100, wire wheels going. Let us know.
More to the point, what are they worth these days??

I jumped off a GSX750ESD with a 16" front wheel onto my 1st Kat
that had the original 19" front wheel, thought it was awful !
Huuuuuge turning circle, but soon got used to it and it wasnt as bad
as the 1st impression.
What the 19' front did do was make the bike very stable.

I was even shown a trick how to prove that the anti-dive is / isnt working.

I looked at 2 of those.

Des's Silver one with wire wheels, was very tempted, but Troy
just put his Black/Blue 02 Busa up for sale so bought that instead,
I think it went to Perth.

and the Gold 7/11 Kat. Let it go, and it was bought by Shayne
(Ausdragbike) nice untill you got close up, Shayne did more work on
it and sold it on, it was recently up for sale yet AGAIN.
