Nitrous Kit, Dry, EFI Power Booster - NX

EFI POWER BOOSTER nitrous system is designed for all factory electronically fuel injected sportbikes equipped with ram air induction. Compact, lightweight, and an easy way to plug in that extra horsepower youâ€ve been wanting. Itâ€s small size and lightweight components makes this the ultimate stealth weapon. Just flip the switch, push a button and hang on!

The Nitrous jet and bottle are attached directly to the NX Lightening Series Solenoid for a clean installation. Nitrous Line is installed directly into the airbox to supply a Nitrous Vapor that passes right through the air filters. Extra fuel will need to be added via a Power Commander or similar device.

There is not a nozzle in this NX dry kit. This kit has the nitrous jet mounted by the solenoid, so a nozzle to hold the jet is not required. You just stick the line thru a hole into the air box.

Installs in less than 2 hours

Dry shot kits are a cheap way to gain 20-30hp however they are fraught with risk, a cheap power upgrade is just that cheap.

No offence to the vendor I have no idea what his kit is like.

The busa has a 2 stage limiter if you tag the limiter on nos then there is a fair to good chance of trashing your motor. A properly setup dry kit MUST include a window switch and should also include a gear based controller or all you will get is wheelspin (even that is unlikely with such a small shot) and unusable power.

If you want NOS then do it properly and go for a wet kit and include an ignition retard unit, a window switch and a gear based controller.

Anything else will end up being much more expensive than yu planned.

Pete you have extensive experience with NOS what are your thoughts.

You just stick the line thru a hole into the air box.
Biggest problem with this type of set up is there is no way to determine that each cylinder gets proportional N02. You might have a forty Hp shot and one cylinder is producing 30 Hp of it Pi_freak
Bare minimum is NO2 pressure gauge, WOT switch.
If it's a Gen II .......... all NOS control can all be done by Flashing the parameters into the standard ECU and no after market controllers required at all. Pi_thumbsup
Below is a link to great lookin spray bar that assures one of giving each pot and equal shot
