You are a great couple with fantastic kids. Its a credit to you. Didn't get to meet Jon unfortunately. "Big Love" sums up you guys. I see that love every time I see you and your family together. And I'm sure will never stop whether Jon is here or close by just in the "next room."

Mark and Gaye, the tragedy that struck your family was felt by many but the grief you have for you lovely son is yours alone.
I feel deeply for you both and am honoured that I can truly call you friends. There is an open invitation to get away up north if you ever feel like it.

and i wholly agree with dj .it sums them up to a tee!!! my fav poem.. one night a man dreamt he was walking along a beach with the lord. he saw the scenes of his life flash before him. he noticed that at his darkest hours there was only one pair of foot prints behind him in the sand. so he said lord: you said once i decided to follow you,you would walk with me all the way. how is it that you were not there when i needed you the most? the LORD replied: my beautiful precious child! i would never abandon you.the single pair of footprints you see in your darkest times were mine. i carried you and blessed you. ....

I remember the day Gassick told Dj and myself, the morning we met up for the ride for Ronnie Balls memorial ride. It was very sad to hear what Gassick had to say, but you & Gaye still managed to make the effort to come along on the ride. Shows your both committed people who care about there family and friends. Jon would be very proud of his family, no doubt... Love Sista T

Sorry for your loss.
I've been in child protection for 26 years, and now I'm a father myself I'm that much closer to understanding the grief associated with parents who outlive their children - it should never happen. Get strength where you can. It's the toughest of the tough.
