Ok so were back online. So my big question is whether updating Twitter was informative for you regarding the site being down. Please vote in poll and give your opinion in text if you having something to say.

I went there. I'm not a member so it didn't help me much.

It worked for me and I haven't joined. The simple instructions at the top of the forum index page were enough to get what was needed.

You don't have to join twitter to see the alerts.
They are available to anybody from the front page.
Just type "hayabusa" in the search panel.

My apologies.
I use my iPhone on here alot and the Twitter site came up as a mobile page, without the search option.
I checked the Twitter site then and it was very easy to find our updates.

I had the same prob I don't think it was your phone, no search option also, it may have been overloaded with all our members, lol
I just went back & had a look it has a different home page now from yesterday & typed hayabusa but only found bike sales stuff ????

I think a new Twitter Account should be setup using the full key words...
Australian Hayabusa Club.

That will make finding it easier.
I think you will be able to delete any old accounts.

If ur on a phone you can select 'normal format' over 'mobile' and it's sweet. Only just realised..

I typed "Australian Hayabusa" into the search box and found all the info available. Just typing "Hayabusa" returned way too much crap to sort through.

And I'm not a twitter member.

dont think that wud work, unless every post contains those words. as it is I have to add the word 'hayabusa' each time otherwise it wont come up in search. and the naming of the account is at its current longest. so either way you look at it, post has to contain that word at least once and if doesnt show up one may have to scroll by pressing 'more' at end of page.

ps. i tried 'australian hayabusa' in search and nothing whatsoever comes up.

bottom post was first attempt, changed nic to top post (vers.2), same acct. 'australian hayabusa' shows zilch for me, i tried screen capture to show but cant seem to do that either. and note search only brings up whats in post as hilited. so in post one has to include the 1 word or both, without them in post nothing will show in search.

So I suggest we just stick to www.twitter.com and the single word hayabusa.
It works fine.
