Came across this thread late in the piece. We used to sell the BlueAnt and dropped them due to a veryhigh failure rate.

We also sold the Scala and found them to be good. Customer feedback was always positive. Can still get them if anyone were interested in a group buy.

I agree about the BA stuff. All Blue Ant stuff is made as an OEM product by a company called STARZ. Can't recall where they are, Korea or Thailand maybe. STARZ just make it & badge it as Blue Ant. A lot of it is crap.
I recall a while back BlueAnt had to recall several hundred thousand of their ear pieces because too many people were complaining about them.
