Suzuki?

Hi all,
Been a dedicated Honda man for many years. About to trade my Blackbird for a brand spanking new K9 'Busa. Live in north Brisbane and hope to have a group ride soon. Played up lately and have just come off a 6 month suspension. so future rides won't be too spirited for me.

Hey... always happy to welcome another convert. Welcome

Just out of interest, as a dedicated Honda man (which I used to be... but that was 2 busa's ago) what made you decide on the busa?

Not sure. I've thought the 'Busa was an Eyeabuser, but have now decided they do actually look good. Of couse they have no equal as far as ponies go.

Yeah... you either love the looks or you don't. Especially the Gen II's (that'll start a commotion!) It will be interesting to read your ride impressions of the 'busa compared with the 'bird as time passes.

Enjoy... and welcome aboard.

Welcome tommygun.

Glad you made the move. I am sure you will find the K9 is an outstanding improvement over the bird.
Handle with care till you adjust mate.

Welcome to the 'busa club, TommyG.....your future rides WILL indeed be extremely spirited now, and your license will be juz fine too (coz its way too hard for Police to read ur plate at warp speed....way to blurry!!!!)Pi_thumbsup

keep it fun,

I've always been a big fan of the blackbird, just wish they kept making them, and kept them up to speed with the busa when it was introduced.

You will love the K9 compared to a blackbird though, in my opinion they are a great bike. Another bike you might want to compare it to (and I will get flamed for mentioning it probably) is the Kwacka ZX14. I actually didn't mind them to ride, though at the end of the day I ended up buying a black K9, I think it was a better bike for me, but each to their own.

Good luck

I suppose that I shouldn't mention here that the blackbird replacement is due out by the end of the year.

V4 - shaft drive etc.
