gsxr1000 rear end

hi guys can anyone help me.ive seen some pics of a gen 2 busa with a gsxr 1000 rear end and i think it looks good.
firstly does anyone know who does that and secondly does the sub frame need altering.
i wouldnt mind giving it a go

Horses for courses. . . Not a fan.

The front is smooth and flowing and chunky, the back half is sharp minimalist and angular. Both look great on their own but not together.

Why not look at gen 1 rear???

mate i think if you look at that and dont reckon you could do it yourself the price you would pay to get it done you might as well go and get a gixxer and look at the back of it every now and then. i reckon you would just chuck the busa subframe and cut and shut the gsx to suit. at a glance minimum tools would be a 9 inch grinder, tape measure, tig and plastic welder- and plenty of patience

can be done in the process off doing one of my bikes sub frame needs to altered to long and too narrow to bolt onto a busa frame need to run the 1000 seat but with busa front mounting position if you can wait might be able to help you with yours

i have the complete arse end off a gsxr 750 07 which is pretty much the same thing if you guys are interested as i what a swop for a 08 busa rear

Or you could build a brand new hand fabricated subframe....

and then bolt the gixxer rear straight to the new subframe - no cut and shut required

Looks crap, but we each have our own oppinnion on what looks good. Original looks much better.
