And we thought busa parts were expensive.

How much did you pay for the bike to start with Eek

...about as much as it cost to bling up our bikes!

Ebay Australia and the UK can be your friend. I ended up getting 2 new piston kits including wrist pins, bearings, clips and gaskets. Plus 2 second hand blocks and heads.

All for under a grand.Trophy

Just sold my little blokes old BMX - to a bloke in Sawtell NSW
240 dollars to get the bike to him with Toll/Ipec. That is an expensive freight!

Bummer. After 5 years I finally had my first bingle today!!

Had a car change lanes onto me (right to left) in Newtown. Took off my right mirror, bent my right frame-slider in and grazed nose cone and RHS fairing... Managed to keep bike upright and have no injuries.

He admitted guilt and I have police report and insurance details.

Spewin' because I would've loved a new re-spray 5 frikken years ago Coolsmiley, but not now that I'm turning it into a track bike! Pi_freak I won't give in my bike for repairs because that means less time on the road for me while I have rego!

Oh well, I will ride the bike until rego expires in November and get repairs done (or cash payout if possible) after that.

Glad to hear you are ok Pan and your bike is not badly damaged.

Obviously the driver was busy reading one of those big orange light signs that read "Check twice for motorcyclists"......because it improved his aim Lol3

Maybe you should have had a tempory bout of insanity and kicked the crap put of his car, one well aimed blow in each panel and his vehicle is a write off. Lucky you were not injured, when the mirror and side fairings get hit, your leg is right there in amongst it all.

Ride it until rego runs out mate, then go from there.

At least you know why it went boom. I remeber a little while back that you had the thing on the dyno to extract some extra ponies out of it, then I hear that it went boom. Thought it may have been the tune, but at least it wasnt.

FYI the RS250 motor is a Suzuki motor, from an RGV250. If you're feeling really keen, bolt two of them together for an RGV500 and then put it back in the same frame. That would be Scary
