ok looks like we have a case for
the fastest 16 and round robin racing. Trophy

this would mean the outlaw busa's will have to at least run 1
9 second pass in qualifying to get the other 3 to 4 race passes.

also we need to look at Racing order, 2 fastest back to slowest
to run each other and so on.
This would mean the outlaw bikes would run against each other
so the racers battle it out for the trophy?

does this siute every 1?

Trying to Get Motul on board for class Sponser, prize money for this
seasons ps/b winer and runner up etc, Some work needs to be done on a proposal and more talks with JH.

i was told today we have a better case for ps/b being reconised nationaly if we have a national sponser, if all goes well at the track champoin ship
they may even consider being the national sponser.

Qualifing within the range of the bracket is somthing I have brought up with a few of the guys already, and I agree in the spirit of the sport thats what should happen.
The other point is what happens when only one OSB turns up....does he do solos because no one whats to line up next to him (even though the bracket is 9.0) man, you guys crack me up. I saw this kind of bullshit in the UK with the 9.5 class, at some stage of the game you will have to take your place next to one, man up and run your 9.0 and win! simple.

Its all good when there's less than 16 bikes entered but once you get to 17 then someone will miss out.
Thats when the:

"what the f..k are those bikes (OSB) doing in the class, they dont belong here". comments start.

Be carefull of how you run the class, no-one (that includes me) wants to pay $150-$200 for a potential of running 2 qualifiers then being sent to the trailer.

I suggest you keep the numbers to the first 16 that enter the 9.0 bracket online (etc) and only take bikes on the day (modbike etc) if the 16 position are not pre filled.

Most No-Bar bike racers in Australia are not ready for the true word of a "Pro" bracket ......OSB is living proof and so are a lot of the comments posted on this forum.

No problems from me lining up against any of the quicker outlaw bikes, just dont take any notice of the rope and the hook. Very Happy. You dont last long racing if you cant take getting beat and not learn something.getting beat takes the boredom away pretty quick and replaces it with REVENGE . Lol3 I,ll race them for reaction.I think it will take a good while for the class to have 16 bikes that,ll run sub 9.3 with a realistic chance of winning before the outlaws get whinged about.I,d rather race them than a mod bike rider trying to scab more runs in prostreet.

Not quite shore where some of this came from but if they run under 9.0 they dont quailify or loose if a race round.Same deal as super gas for cars. Leigh

So in saying that in a normal 3 qualifier bracket meet, and outlaw must do one or more 9. something run to proceed.depending on whether theres 16 or more qualifying with determine what the 9. something has to be.I agree those keen will be the top 16 entered on line and if 16 isnt met the numbers can be filled on the day if people choose to come across.Easy.

1stly this is a 9 second index and as you say in the spirit of the class
you should be able to qualify to run the class.

i am only thinking forward to when the day comes we have 18 bikes wanting to race, 4 of those run 10.5 et for example and 4 of them are osb

now how do you find the fairness in this situation, who should be allowed and who shouldnt be?

not the first 16 to enter as they could all be 10 second runners!

16 fastest and closest to the 9 second index! you enter and dont make the cut you go home!
if we were to run eliminations it will be the same , 2 qualifiers, out 1st round and on the trailer, who wants that?

It will be hard to convince wsid that we only want them to collect
the fee from 16 bikes when 30 bike want to run, I thinks wsid
will want to run 30 and run eliminations to there financial benefit, not to mention finding the time
trying to run 30 bikes round robin all day.

also i never said i didnt want to run a osb bike, i would be happy to run
you leonard 3 times with you on quick silver running 7.5 et, then advance straight to the finals.
this way i would only have to win 1 race. but how fair would that be to the slower 9 second bikes
that had to try and take a win?

Matt showed it is at least possible to run 9s on a outlaw bike and take the win as well, low Boost, roll of the throttle
do what ever, but run a 9 to qualify is all. (if and when the field is 16 or more bikes that is)

after we have a full feild of ps/b, with 6 constantly breaking out of the index, we could push
for a 8 second index class to be added.

It would be a good idea to get a 10 second bracket
up and running with ddl license requirements, to feed the ps/b class in the future. with the ps/b class
possibly feeding and 8 second index class.

we need to work together. as 1 voice, if we are to get racing back on track at wsid.

Rob and Leigh, did you guy's actually read the first sentence in my post?

I'll reword it for you,

I THINK A 9 sec PASS IS REQUIRED FOR QUALIFING.
I regret that I Withdraw from PSB competition, good luck to the rest of the competitors,

Sorry Leonard, i had taken the qaulify bit, with regards to the rest you had typed
the wrong way, the you guys crack me up comment, got my back up.

spoke to you, again may bee i didnt come across
the right way.

to withdraw is your choice, not were i was going with my above post.

Certainly wont help the cause for a possible future push for a 8 second index.

it would be a shame not to see your there full stop.

i was just wanting to see who wants to keep ps/b as a round robin is all!

Undecided
