Well the first wsid prostreet round has been run and won.I top qualified with 9.08 with simmo doing a pb on his first run with a 9.12@153mph. my day went downhill from there and kept having little issues and was disappointed in the mistakes i made.carl on rc tunings zx9 with nos surprised everyone with a 9.12 also i think.Matt gildon(detuned outlaw busa) was the man to beat with a few low 9.0 sec passes and raced against john cooper on his built gixxer1000 in the final with matt doing a low 9.0 to a 9.4 for john cooper.the combination of a very tacky track and the pro tree certainly rushes your launches and makes things tougher.I think all the guys enjoyed the format(chicago shootout) and protree heads up and fully expect the fields in this class to fill up.i had simmo and matt on reaction i was doing mostly 0.0.s and similar 1.5 60ft,s then it all turned to shit for me unfortunately.congratulations to matt for winning,congrats to simmo for doing the fastest gen2 pass in Australia,and congrats to skinny carl for being able to tap into and use the performance benefits of his shop zx9 to AWESOME effect.Screw this diet i,m going out for pizza.

thanks for the write up spaman and well done to matt for the win and simmo on the pb. 153 mph and awesome et. was it good air or have you tweaked the gen2? 20shot? or just rode the pants of it?

well done rc on that zx9. clearly the jockey is like a fish to water with that et after so few runs.

looks like the qld & nsw battle will be very interesting. hmm the sleeping blues vs the cane toads or is it the green wheelie bins.

Glen No moore pizza for Carl he is full time rc!

half the gas ( only 50% on the nos controller) and a 60 kg rider on his 2nd time out and 8th run in total (beginers luck ?)
goes 9.16 & 154 mph on a 1.5 60 foot
data log show carl had run out of gearing about 5 meters from line,
raising the rev limit a little help drop from 9.345 down to the 9.1.
Cant wait until we drop to a 42 rear sprocket and pump up the gas.


looks like Carls the rider from here on in, and i will just build the buggers.
seems my added bulk just wont cut at the track!

Over all the meet was great, disapointed i had to leave, but happy to have heard the results.
